Lowveld National Botanical Garden
Dominating the magnificent wilderness of the Lowveld Botanical Gardens are the Crocodile and Nel Rivers. These spectacular watercourses determine the character of this garden, set in the heart of Mpumalanga.
The Crocodile River flows through a narrow, potholed rock gorge to meet the Nel, which tumbles down from a waterfall and converges at a tranquil pool around a river bend. For peace and serenity, the pure natural beauty of the gardens is unparalleled.
The Garden is open daily from 08h00 to 17h00 (April to August) and 08h00 to 18h00 (September to March).
Entrance fee is R17.00 per adult and R7.00 for Scholars and Pensioners and R7.00 for Students on presentation of student card. Members of the Botanical Society have free entrance, on proof of membership'
