Innibos, by far Nelspruit's biggest annual event plays host to all sorts of activities, shopping and only the best in South African Music. With 100 000 people through the gates in 2010, this festival is growing from strength to strength and is testimony to the festive spirit of Mpumalanga.
Emnotweni Casino has been a key player in helping to stage the annual InniBos Arts Festival since the event’s inception in 2002. As a platinum sponsor of this highly-popular festival of annual arts, music and culture, Emnotweni Casino has the honour of hosting the official launch party which is attended by members of the media and other dignitaries.
The expansive Emnotweni Arena provides the stage for some of the most prestigious acts of the InniBos Festival, and the casino also sponsors and hosts the exclusive VIP lounge at the main festival grounds for performing artists and other special guests attending the festival. Emnotweni also has a VIP-box especially for a select number of their Club Festival members at the main festival grounds for the duration of the event.
The annual Innibos Festival has become a nationally-recognised and acclaimed event, attracting over 100 000 festival-goers from across the country. The festival format is typical of a national arts festival with approximately 30 music, theatre and dance productions which are hosted in several venues in and around Nelspruit.
The central festival terrain at Hoërskool Bergvlam hosts open stages, approximately 350 art craft stalls and entertainment from 10 am until late every evening throughout the duration of the festival. Aside from being great fun and providing a platform for showcasing local arts, culture and music, the Innibos Festival is also considered a positive economic enabler in the Lowveld.
