The purpose of this event is twofold - we will showcase what Riverside Park has to offer, and also hope to raise substantial funds for the associated charity. Take a Step for Children is to become an annual fixture.

The 10km race will follow a scenic route, winding through our beautiful Botanical Garden and the business areas of the Riverside Park. The 3km Carnival charity walk/run will follow a fun-filled route through the business areas of the Riverside Park. It is a safe and enjoyable course, which has been approved and will be supervised on the day by the Traffic Department.
