How to Play: Emnotweni’s Jock Poker
Player must place 3 bets of equal value on betting areas marked A, 1 and 2. Minimum R25 and maximum R200.
Once all bets are placed each player will recieve 3 cards. The dealer will also take 2 cards and these will be placed faced down in the marked areas in front of the tray. Note that a player may not fold a hand at any time.
The players will now check their cards and make the decision whether to "let it ride" or remove the bet from the betting area marked "1".
Once all bets have been decided and removed by the dealer when necessary the card to the dealers left will be turned face up. The process of deciding to "let it ride" or remove the bet from the betting area marked "2" will take place again.
Once all decisions have been made and acted on the dealer will turn their second card face up.
The dealer will now turn the cards of the first box on their right face up and check for the best 5-card poker hand that can be made from the player's 3 cards and the 2 community cards. If a poker hand can be made then the dealer will pay all the bets that are still in play according to the table of odds. After the bet(s) have been paid the player's 3 cards will be removed to the discard. This will be repeated for all hands on the table.
