The 2010 Steelwings Harley Davidson and Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex Golf Day on Friday, 8 October promises to offer participants an unforgettable and extremely fun golfing experience.
This very popular Golf Day is an annual event organised by Steelwings and will this year be hosted at the Nelspruit Golf Course. During 2009 over R45 000 was raised for charity and the organisations benefiting are based in Baberton, Lydenburg as well as Nelspruit.
“Participants come from all over Mpumalanga and we would like to welcome them again this year to enjoy a wonderful day with us in Nelspruit. We are very proud to be associated with this event and look forward to having lots of fun on Friday,” comments Ig Olivier, general manager at Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex.
“This is a Golf Day with a difference – it is a FUN day, where participants will be required to do certain fun ‘activities’ at select sponsor holes.. The activities are sure to leave golfers with lots of stories to tell after the event,” says Olivier.
The day will end with a scrumptious dinner at the Explorers restaurant at the Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex, where various prizes will be auctioned including a laser printer and a very exclusive motorbike helmet. Well-known radio DJ, Robin Jansma from Radio Laeveld will be MC for the evening and loads of lucky draws will take place which include from car wash to Pro Shop vouchers. The first and second prizes are netbooks - which is all the rage at the moment!
For those companies who would like to use this opportunity to introduce their products to local companies and business people, you can still sponsor some holes on the day.
Eight 4-balls are also still available for those keen golfers who did not get a chance to participate in this event during previous years.
