EXCITING NEW EXPLORERS RESTAURANT AT EMNOTWENI SOON TO RE-OPEN

13 December 2010

Explorers Restaurant at the Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex is has been redone giving it a fresher, lighter and more contemporary look and feel. While remaining true to its roots as a down-to-earth, good-value eatery, the new Explorers, with its sophisticated yet vibrant interior, and spacious and upmarket bar area, will be a trendy meeting place for people to wine, dine and have a good time.

The restaurant has been closed for the refurbishment period and will open again to the public on Monday, 13 December. The restaurant will be open all day from 8am till late.

The link between the Explorers and the Riverside Mall promotions court will definitely allow for the ambiance of Explorers to flow into the food court area. This will create and enhance the interaction between the restaurant, which was already a popular venue for pre-movie dinners and post-movie cocktails for the Riverside Mall's Nu Metro Cinema.

Explorers Restaurant is shaking its old look completely, and everything from floor to ceiling is being stripped to make way for lighter, more modern finishes and furnishings. A new and exciting menu will offer something for everyone ranging from delicious breakfasts right through to light lunches, snacks such as sandwiches and then of course hearty meals for those who prefer it. Some sweet delights will also be included on the new menu. Another exciting offering is that Explorers now proudly brews STARBUCKS® coffee.

"We're really excited about the changes implemented at Explorers, we are glad that we could change out the inside and really make it a World Class venue for the community of Nelspruit to come and wine and dine" says Ig Olivier, General Manager of Emnotweni.

Emnotweni Casino offers an array of entertainment options and also boasts a total of 367 slot machines in a wide variety of denominations, 11 gaming tables plus a Salon Privé, providing four gaming tables.

The casino, which is owned by Tsogo Sun Gaming, the country's largest black empowerment hotel and gaming group, has also received numerous accolades over the last few years. These include best entertainment destination in the Lowveld and second best Conference facility in Mpumalanga.
