Emnotweni Casino recently welcomed Nathi Horo as Assistant Marketing Manager. 26-year old Horo, who was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Communication Management from the University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape.
Horo is no stranger to the gaming industry having joined Tsogo Sun Gaming Head Office as a Marketing graduate in 2009. He later moved to Montecasino where he worked as an event coordinator.
Although he gained invaluable experience working at what is one of the country’s biggest casino’s and entertainment destinations, Horo, who is passionate about the casino industry, believes there is still a lot more to learn. On a personal level, he would like to one day have a family with whom to travel the world with.
“I believe it is important to have an attitude for learning and have an open mind. I am constantly striving to learn more and do better. Throughout my career, I have had tremendous mentors who have guided me to where I am today. I am thrilled to be in Nelspruit which is one of the most exciting emerging cities in the country, and to be part of the Emnotweni Casino family,” says Horo.
The casino’s General Manager, Ig Olivier says the team is delighted to have Horo onboard.
“Nathi is a welcome addition to our team. During his career with Tsogo Sun Gaming, he has proved a highly-capable, professional and passionate marketing ambassador for the brand.
“While we welcome Horo, we bid a fond farewell to Andrew Irumba who has been promoted to Promotions and Events Manager at Suncoast Casino. We wish them both every success in their new roles.”
