EMNOTWENI CASINO – HELPS TO BRING BETTER EDUCATION TO KABOKWENI
Emnotweni Casino supported the efforts by the AutoTec Foundation in Nelspruit who is sending Norma Nkosi, the principal of Sandzile Primary School, on an educational trip to Switzerland.
After receiving an invitation from the Swiss school to visit and experience their way of learning and teaching, The Foundation put together a major drive to raise funds for Norma to ensure that she can bring back this knowledge and implement it at Sandzile Primary School and evidently influence the way of education across the Kabokweni area.
“At Emnotweni we believe in the promotion of education and feel that everyone should have access to it,” comments Ig Olivier, General Manager at Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex. “Norma is a well-known educator in the community and respected in her field of expertise. For this reason we decided to help make this trip a reality, so that she can bring back the knowledge to even further improve her efforts at the Primary School.”
Norma is hoping to bring back knowledge that will change the way the school will look at education and provide teachers and learners with a better insight into other cultures and how they achieve success as a result of many years of dedication and hard work.
Emnotweni Casino will be sponsoring Norma’s hotel accommodation at OR Tambo Garden Court for two nights in Johannesburg before her trip and on her return, and supplied her with her luggage requirements from Diplomats at Riverside Mall.
“We believe this trip will be invaluable to not only Norma’s school but all the children who will benefit from it now and later in their lives,” concludes Olivier.
