Kevin Bloody Wilson – the controversial Australian comedy singer and song writer – visited South Africa during August and September and made a one night appearance only on Wednesday, 1 September at Emnotweni Arena in Nelspruit.

After singing in pubs and at football clubs as a hobby in the 80’s, his career kicked off and he has never looked back since. Even though Kevin Bloody Wilson is famous for his crude songs and his humour is regarded as being politically incorrect, he has managed to sell over 3.5 million albums worldwide.
“Kevin Bloody Wilson is not your average comedian, but his shows are extremely popular and those who attended really enjoyed an evening mixed with bawdy songs, lots of fun and many tears of laughter. We were very happy to be privileged enough to have hosted this Australian comedy legend in the Lowveld and hopefully we will be able to host him again soon,” comments Ig Oliver, general manager at Emnotweni Casino and Entertainment Complex.
Kevin Bloody Wilson does no less than 120 tours annually and released his 15th album this year. Some of his most popular songs include "Dick'taphone" and “The Genie in the Bottle” which is a country song Kevin co-wrote with Adam Harvey and resulted in reaching the number one video spot on the Country Music Television Channel in 2008
