Easter is A Feast at Explorers

The temporary Explorers, open in its rightful place next to the Jacaranda FM studio, is serving up “eggstra” special Easter feasts over the coming weekend. From Friday to Monday, the team, headed up by Head Chef Thomas Grovѐ, there will be a tantalizing buffet spread to look forward to.

On Good Friday, 18 April, there will be a lip-smacking seafood buffet. On the menu is crumbed calamari, mussels in white wine sauce, peppered mackerel, grilled prawns, kingklip and an array of side dishes and desserts.

Saturday the 19th of April features an extensive buffet with authentic South African braai theme. On the menu is chicken livers, a selection of contemporary salads, lamb loin cutlets, succulent beef, boerewors and chicken skewers. The dessert options include local favourites like malva pudding carrot cake, chocolate mousse, and tiramisu.

On the 20th of April, Explorers popular Sunday buffet will be served-up. As always, there will be mouth-watering meats, expertly-prepared vegetables, fresh salads, and a choice of desserts, including homemade hot cross buns. Children will be treated with ice-cream cones and a selection of colourful toppings.

On Family Day, the 21st of April, Explorers will continue the magic with its famous buffet of hearty hot dishes, meats, vegetables and indulgent puddings.
