5-Days at Emerald Resort

Traditional competitions are draws where the participants enter a draw, through a physical medium such as but not limited to ticket stubs, business cards, etc without tendering any consideration for such entry. On the day of the draw the participant enters the physical medium into the draw bin/entry box. The winning medium is selected by way of a manual draw. Participants are given an opportunity to decline an invitation to be present at the draw if presence is required.

1. No person under 18 is allowed to participate in this promotion;
2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons by either movies@, Emnotweni Casino or BElOMBRE is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
4. Spend R250 or more in a single transaction at participating outlets to qualify.

   • clearly write your name, surname and contact number on the back of the receipt
   • drop this into the entry box at the participating outlet
   • draw bins will close and be collected from participating outlets and emptied into one tombola/entry bin.
5. The entrant will have to enter an original receipt/s or tax invoice for redemption – NO copies, Pro-forma invoices or reprints of receipts will be accepted.
6. Original receipts/tax invoices that are damaged – spiked or torn – will not be accepted
7. Only receipts obtained at participating restaurant during the promotion period – 1 December 2023 until 30 January 2024 will be accepted.
8. No limit on number of entries per person.
9. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
10. Finalists and Prize winners will be selected by way of random manual draw. Draw times and dates will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
11. On 1 February 2024 at 10h00, 100 tickets will be drawn as finalists at Emnotweni Casino stage, and persons will be contacted via SMS as per the detail provided on the back of the receipt which was drawn.
12. A person may be selected more than once as a finalist, but may only win ONE prize at the FINAL Draw.
13. Finalists will be invited to attend the FINAL draw event at Emnotweni on Saturday, 8 February 2024.
14. Participants must be present on 8 February 2024 for the draw at 11h00 – or….
15. A process for declination to be present at a draw will be available at the Customer Services Desk on the day of the FINAL draw from 09h00 am 10h45; for the period between the opening and closing times of the entry bins before the actual draw, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced on that day. 16. Participants must register to decline to be present at draws in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. Positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by relevant parties when completing this process.
17. Prize winners or nominated Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Emnotweni Rewards card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification. Emnotweni gaming system (GMS) may be used as a way to assist in identifying a person.
18. Should the prize winner or nominated Proxy not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
19. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided on the Proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize.
20. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for CASH unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
21. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
22. Emnotweni shall take all reasonable steps to contact the finalists via the contact details provided on the entry form or otherwise readily available.
23. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
24. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
25. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
26. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
27. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
28. The data collected during the promotion will be managed strictly by Tsogo Sun policies and procedures about privacy and direct communication

Prize Detail:

1. Prize is valid for 4 months from date of issue.
2. Winners will be responsible for their own travel arrangements.
3. The prize is subject to availability and bookings must be made in advance
4. Activities – 1 voucher per person per activity, unless stipulated otherwise.
