Progressive Jackpot of R10,000!

 

The progressive jackpot starts out at R10,000 cash and increases by R500 per day if no one can guess the matching numbers. However, on the launch day – 4 October 2023 the jackpot will start at R20,000. If not won on the day, it will reset to R10,000.

To take part will remain easy; with the option to buy in for only R20 per game card or get a free entry simply by earning the required number of points from the start of the promotion period by playing Slots or Table games with a Rewards card.

Game cards will be available at the Cash Desk on SUPER9 days from 09h00 until an hour before each session and you will be able to purchase a maximum of 10 cards per session.

The free (earned) ticket will be available on the ehost.

Buy-in values will be added to the prizes:

50% of the buy-in value will be given away at each session

50% of the buy-in value will be added to the progressive amount per session

 

HOW TO PLAY SUPER 9:

 

Once a guest has collected his/her game card during the advertised times, they need to select 9 numbers between 0 -36 on the game card.

Guests should keep the Colour Copy as a reference, and enter the duplicate copy into the entry bin for verification purposes by the promotions team.

Entry bins close 1 Hour before each event – allowing hosts to ‘sort’ the entered tickets in numerical order, making it easier to verify on stage.

FREE (earned) tickets will be available on the ehost where guests can select their numbers; print a copy, and keep the copy as a reference.

Important: Game cards may only be used on the day it was issued. It cannot be kept for another date/time

Before each session, 37 uniquely numbered balls (from 0 – 36) will be placed inside the SUPER9 bag on the casino stage.

A host will draw out a number at a time, show it to the audience, and display it on the screens inside the casino allowing guests to check if they have a match on the game card in their possession.

The progressive amount can only be won if a match is obtained within the first 18 numbers drawn – and verified within the given time limit.

If there is a winner within the first 18 numbers drawn, the player/s with the matching numbers will share in the progressive prize pool.

The host will continue to select numbers after the first 18 numbers have been drawn – regardless if there was a winner for the progressive prize pool or not – which will determine the winner of the rest of the 50% prize pool per session. The consolation prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner.

Should there be no winner after 18 spins, 50% of the buy-ins per session will be added to the starting amount of R10,000.

The Jackpot will also progress by R500 cash per activation day if no one won within the first 18 numbers drawn at any of the sessions.

NOTE:If less than 10 tickets were bought for a session, 100% of total buy-ins will be added to the main Jackpot prize and only 18 numbers will be drawn

 

FINAL DAY:

 

Should there be NO Jackpot winner by the last session on the last day of the activation – 27 January 2024, a manual draw will be conducted at 20h00 where 3 tickets will be drawn from everyone who entered the last session on that day.

The prize will be shared equally between the 3 drawn ticket holders

  1. Any person who is under the age of 18, who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or taking part in this promotional competition
  2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. The promotion is open to all – Rewards members and non – Rewards members
  4. Progressive jackpot starting at R10 000 Cash
  5. The Super9 progressive jackpot will increase by R500 Cash on the next promotional day if not won
  6. The promotion will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 14h00 and 19h00, with buy-in entries closing an hour before at eHost and Cash Desk, 13h00 for the afternoon session and 18h00 for the evening session
  7. Refunds will be allowed and can take place between 9h00 – 13h00 and again between 14h00 – 18h00 only if criteria is met.
  8. Entry into the promotion is by way of a daily Free Ticket to Emnotweni Rewards cardholders who meets the required number of points earned since start of the promotion; and/or R20 cash buy-in at Cash Desk, on the day of the promotion between 09h00 – 12h59:59 and 13h00 – 17h59:59.
  9. FREE (earned) tickets will be available on the ehost where guests can select their numbers; print a copy, and keep the copy as reference
  10. 1 ticket per day, Wednesday (1 ticket) Fridays (1 ticket) and Saturday (1 ticket)
  11. Buy-in at Cash Desk, up to 10 added tickets per session, at R20 each
  12. Super9 game cards (whether purchased or a Free ticket) may only be used on the date it was issued. Game card used on any other date will be disqualified.
  13. After all, 18 numbers are drawn, 90 seconds will be given for any winner to claim the prize, should there be 90 seconds lapses without anyone claiming the money then we roll over the amount, and security will be keeping track of time
  14. The Super 9 entry ticket will consist of colour ticket and a counterfoil which the counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin. The participant must keep the colour ticket to verify against the numbers drawn on the day/ same will apply for the ticket printed at ehost.
  15. Guests must select 9 unique numbers between 0 – 36 and record these on the Super 9 entry ticket
  16. Participants may not select/fill in the same number twice on the Super 9 entry ticket
  17. Super 9 Game Cards with illegible numbers or altered/changed numbers, as well as undated or outdated (expired) Super9 Game Cards will be considered invalid
  18. Should the participant wish to make changes to the Super 9 entry ticket, the promotional team including security must be consulted prior to inserting the ticket into the entry bin
  19. Marketing should sign for guests’ tickets with any cancellation or rectifying of numbers on it, if not signed by Marketing ticket will be void. It is the guest’s responsibility to make sure that the ticket with cancelled numbers is signed by the Marketing staff
  20. No changes may be made to the Super 9 entry ticket once the ticket counterfoil has been inserted into the entry bin.
  21. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the numbers completed/ selected on the Super 9 entry ticket are clear and readable otherwise the ticket will be considered invalid.
  22. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure that the Super9 Game Card is dated correctly, for the respective Super9 session for which it is entered.
  23. The ticket counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin between 09h00 – 13h55 for the afternoon session and 09h00 until 18h55 for the evening session on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, once the participant has selected their 9 unique numbers.
  24. The entry bin/s to insert tickets will close 5 mins prior to the starting time of the promotion.
  25. On the day of the promotion, Cash Desk and Marketing will calculate/verify the number of buy-ins prior to the starting time of the promotion. 50% of the total buy-ins will be added towards the jackpot prize which is considered the “1st pool/consolation” and the remaining 50% will be added towards the “2nd prize pool”
  26. Uniquely numbered balls will be randomly drawn from the stage. Balls will be numbered from 0-36.
  27. Numbers drawn will be displayed on Promotional Screens across the casino complex.
  28. Participants must match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn to win the progressive jackpot
  29. It is the responsibility of the participant/s to present themselves to the promotional team for verification within the time limit given.
  30. All participants must be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s), unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to stand for them during the draw
  31. Participants that do not wish to attend/ be present at the draw must complete and sign the proxy form available at the Customer Service Desk on the day of the draw in person and with the nominee. Positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) must be presented by both the participant and the nominee when completing the proxy form
  32. The “proxy forms” will be available from 9h00 until 15 minutes before the draw at the Customer Service Desk after no winner is announced, where a participant can nominate a proxy to stand for them to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced.
  33. The participant will have to give a copy of his/her positive and acceptable identification and the nominees’ positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID/ RSA driver’s licence or passport). A redraw will occur should a participant/s or authorised representative not present themselves within 90 seconds
  34. Nominees can only stand for one participant during the draw. Multiple representations will lead to disqualification. Only the first participant represented will be considered
  35. Prize winners or authorised representatives who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards Programme Card belonging to the winner; and a positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) belonging to the representative.
  36. Should the winner not have positive identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using the Game smart System. Should proof of identification not be available on the Game smart System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible, and the onus is on the finalist to present a valid and acceptable form of identification
  37. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes available to the winner they stand for
  38. The jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner to match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn
  39. The winner in the second prize pool/consolation will win 50% cash of the total buy-ins of the day
  40. The prize on the second pool will be split equally should there be more than one winner. Once the first winner is found, other participants will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage to be verified as winners
  41. It is the responsibility of the participants to check/ verify their numbers selected on the Super 9 entry ticket against the numbers drawn on the day of the promotion.
  42. Participants will be given 90 seconds to be verified on stage after 18 numbers have been drawn/announced. Should there be no winner verified within 90 seconds, the promotions team will continue to draw numbers for prize pool 2/consolation (50% buy-ins)
  43. Should there be no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 numbers drawn, the progressive jackpot will roll over to the next promotion date.
  44. FINAL DAY – 27 January 2024
  45. Should no participant/s win the jackpot prize during the promotional draw on 27 January 2024, a manual draw will be conducted at 20h00. Free (earned) tickets cannot be entered for the draw as these tickets did not contribute towards the progressive jackpot.
  46. Draw date and times will be advertised through the advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  47. Tickets for the draw cannot be bought for cash, points or through any other form of consideration
  48. Prize winners will be selected by way of the random draw
  49. Only THREE winners will be announced to share the Jackpot prize equally on 27 January 2024.
  50. Participants will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage to claim the prize
  51. The verification team will confirm the ticket before the participant is announced as the winner
  52. All participants must be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s) unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to stand for them during the draw
  53.   60. Prizes are not transferrable and may not be exchanged
  61. The jackpot prize advertised is the actual prize to be won
  62. All decisions are final, and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  63. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
  64. In case of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used to conduct the draw, at the sole discretion of Management
  65. Every participant in this promotion shall be considered to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation
  66. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
