Emnotweni All Set to Unveil All

After months of secrecy and work behind-the-scenes, Emnotweni is gearing up to reveal its full facilities.  Besides for the name change to movies@ Emnotweni and its jaw-dropping interior design of its gambling facilities, it is especially proud of its brand new, trendy eatery and cocktail bar, the Glassbar. Flanking the Emnotweni Arena and featuring a beautiful open terrace overlooking the Nelspruit Botanical Gardens, the Glassbar is set to become the hotspot for after-work sundowners, pre-concert cocktails and lively get-togethers with friends and colleagues. Doors will open to public for the first time on 7 June, following a private launch to Emnotweni Cardholders.

The interior is crisp, modern, vibrant and sophisticated, yet comfortable, with a spacious dining area for sit down meals and cocktail bar. The venue features huge glass windows, offering guests sweeping views of the city. The Glassbar will be open daily, from noon until midnight, providing a cosmopolitan option for people seeking somewhere to meet, eat and socialize.

The Glassbar boasts a contemporary menu featuring a tantalizing selection of mini burger sliders in beef, lamb, chicken, vegetable or pork, accessorized with mouthwatering toppings. The menu includes a delectable choice of gourmet sandwiches with some of the most creative and lip-smacking fillings in the Lowveld. Guests can also choose to share mini table buffets with their choice of gorgeous tasters. On the sweet side, there is selection of indulgent cakes and desserts such as Mint Chocolate Tart with an Espresso Brulée and Brandy Snap Cannelloni, and Berry Jelly Cheese Cake with a Cosmo Shot and Pistachio Crumble.

“Our new Glassbar is an exciting new addition to the menu of superlative entertainment and dining options available at Emnotweni. Ideally situated within Riverside Parkand overlooking the Lowveld Botanical Gardens, it is the ideal meeting place for friends to meet for lunch or drinks, with the extensive glass walls offering panoramic views of the Lowveld escarpment on a sunny day, and the vibrant city lights at night.

“The Glassbar’s menu highlights the new era in dining. Eating out is an experience, with the option to share specially-designed social food platters decked with sumptuous snacks presented in a contemporized style,” says Ig Olivier, the Director of Operations and Complex General Manager at Emnotweni.

The completion of the Glassbar forms the last part of the extensive refurbishment done at Emnotweni, which not only included a complete make-over and enlargement of the Casino, but also adding a world-class multi-purpose venue as well as refurbishment of the ever-popular Explorers Restaurant at the link between Emnotweni and Riverside Mall.
